Technical sales specialists are perfect candidates for CompTIA’s IT for Sales certification. The wealth of knowledge contained in this specialty certification series is designed to prepare individuals interested in technical sales to successfully interact with customers and make a sale happen. It serves as a measure of competency for numerous companies, and is a must for any sales professional interested in working in the IT field.
This intermediate level exam is perfect for individuals first entering the sales field, whether a student, recent graduate or someone looking for a career switch. It is also recommended that experienced professionals who are new to selling technology products and solutions, or who are looking to gain more knowledge in the technical sales role, earn this certification. Jobs such as sales engineer and account manager can be obtained once earning it.
A passing score on one exam is all that’s needed. 50 questions will be included, all of multiple choice style in either the English or Japanese language. Candidates can prepare with the training options provided by CompTIA, in addition to on the job training that is highly recommended for correctly answering the practical questions that will be found on the exam.
A wide range of skills will be tested.
